Ayan Rezaei is a Linz-based artist and architect whose work critically engages with the body, public space, and the phenomenology of perception as a socially and politically embodied experience. Her practice explores the intersections of materiality, urban environments, and corporeality, with a strong focus on female sensory perspectives. Informed by her immigration background, she also investigates the bureaucratic structures that shape the experiences of minorities. Spanning public interventions, performance, installation, and collage with architectural materials, her work challenges spatial and societal conventions. She currently works as a university assistant in the Space and Design Strategies department at Kunstuniversität Linz.
